IU Implant features:
The IU Implantation System is a submersible implant developed by WARANTEC. It features several unique advantages:
- Innovative SLA (ABE) Surface: Enhances osseointegration for improved long-term stability.
- Optimized Load Distribution: The point of maximum compression is positioned 3 mm below the cortical bone layer, reducing the risk of bone resorption.
- Advanced Thread Design:
- V-shaped thread in the lower section ensures superior primary stability and surgical convenience.
- A square thread in the upper section (cortical and subcortical area) provides exceptional stabilization, even in soft bone, while minimizing spatial stress in the cortical bone.
- Enhanced Primary Stability: The implant’s structure ensures optimal load distribution between the lower cortical bone and the upper spongy bone, preventing initial bone resorption.
- Precision Connection: Features an 11° internal conical connection with an anti-rotation hexagon for a secure and stable fit.
SLA (ABE) Surface Treatment
Advanced SLA (Large Grit Sandblasting & Acid Etching) surface treatment technology creates an ideal implant surface roughness with an Ra value of 1.44 μm.
The surface texture and pores are uniformly rounded and smooth, eliminating sharp edges and promoting better bone integration.
Internal hex connection with an 11° Morse taper design provides a stable and reliable implant-abutment connection.
The self-tapping V-shaped thread design, combined with increased apical thread depth, simplifies the implantation procedure and enhances implant fixation stability.
Designed to improve surgical efficiency:
Collects sufficient bone particles during drilling
Reduces heat generation during drilling
Drill stop ring enables easier depth adjustment
Available in long and short versions for convenient clinical use
